82a Sunday Session 7th February 2016

The un-expected happens ….. a simple groove had just begun to set in when, unannounced, arms and legs dancing seemingly independent of each other, sweating profusely, grabbing this mic then that, anything, even if it wasn’t plugged in, finally settling on gasp!!! …the most expensive ribbon mic in the room at the time, wrenching at the lead which was becoming more and more entangled around a weighted down mic stand

Over the last three years my tolerance level has slowly expanded beyond rational explanation, alcoholic’s, junkies, non-musical wannabe’s, ego maniacs, delusional imaginary rock stars, guys who only seem to know how too loud can always be made even more unbearable, this was a new one …

… keep recording … try to replace the ribbon mic with an SM58 or something without disrupting the disruption … so it went ..

… then as suddenly as he appeared the whilly-whilly fella was gone

Craig Surma voice, Craig Forbes drums, Val Nart piano, Luke McKelvey bass, Michael Buckley guitar, Benni Seidel percussion panic button audio

Alistair (Azo) Bell guitar, Andrew Levrault harmonica, Benni Seidel audio
